Our insurance was switched to bluestone at the beginning of the year. The changes have caused some confusion with previous providers; however, the customer service provided by bluestone has made the transition easier. I would like to specifically thank the customer service representative, Zena Bazzle. I am pregnant and was having difficulty scheduling sonograms with a specialist who was referred by my OB. The billing department canceled several appointments and insisted that these appointments would need to be paid out of pocket. Zena followed through multiple times with this provider and helped me schedule the covered care I need. Luckily, the next time I needed help and called member services, Zena answered the call. $1800 to see my Cardiologist and my financial responsibility $1080??? You would think after paying thousands of dollars to an medical insurance company they’d cover %100 of it. This kind of discourages people to see the doctor for even the simplest things to see what is going on inside of your own body. I mean with this economy and everyone struggling you gotta help people. I mean if the cost of claims is minute compared to the amount of money raked into an insurance company then there is a problem that needs to be looked into.

I recently had a very expensive billing issue from a referral visit and was not getting very much help from the place where I was being billed at. After calling Advantek, I spoke with Kim V. who cleared everything up in very short order. She even notified the referral location and provided exceptional follow up service. Great service and fast results.

Truth is I would leave this place -5 stars. My current job hired these people to handle employees insurance information. I got my pending eye doctor appointment canceled (mind you I had been waiting for over a month for this appointment due to my bad vision) because Advantek didn’t want to provide me with my insurance information or let alone call them to provide them with the simple insurance info they were requesting. I have medical bills in collections right now for the same reason the insurance information wasn’t provided and got billed as I wasn’t covered. Reached out and issue still hasn’t been addressed. I don’t know why my current employer hired these people to handle our insurance information, it just makes it harder for one to go through a purposeless party for your own insuranc
