AAA Santa Barbara employee Sandra was incredibly helpful Dec 30, 2025 helping me with all the DMV paperwork required to transfer my father's car into my name after passing away. Registration change, pink slip title request form and custom plates transfer. She helped me with all the paperwork for about 30 minutes and appreciated how much it meant to me. I call it Ten Stars service with a smile 😊.

DMV Services Review. The SB office is great for lightweight DMV tasks such as standard renewals. For anything more complicated go to DMV. Recently applied for a title change for an out of state truck. After two trips to AAA was still on a wild goose chase for supposedly needed weight certificate and to clear up the existence of a second title copy. Went to DMV for help. Turns out Weight Certificate was unnecessary (already on the title) and VIN was issue was a data entry mistake. Had new plates in less than 20 minutes.

Excellent customer service from start to finish! Took care of all of my DMV needs within 20 minutes. Thank you to the wonderful team there for all that you do!
