I’d like to share a disappointing experience I had at the KEMPSVILLE location of AAA. I visited to get notarization for copies of some original immigration documents for my passport application. After waiting nearly 35 minutes for assistance, the notary on duty refused to sign any documents, stating that they do not notarize immigration or passport-related documents. I then went to UPS, where they completed the notarization in just a few minutes. Why does AAA offer free notary services if they won't assist with these types of documents?

My wife was a AAA member and spoke glowingly about AAA. I've gone here 4 times to get a check engine light issue, which was a problem with the exhaust system repaired. Hundreds of dollars and days in the shop and it's still not fixed. Horrible Horrible Horrible. I expected honest good work from AAA and got the reverse. I could have done better if I had pick an auto repair shop at random.

My renewal process was handled smoothly. I down graded to the basic plan from premium because I am now retired and do not drive long distance anymore. The representative was kind and explained the basic benefits and lower fee.
