AAA Alexandria

I’ve been coming to this AAA Alexandria location for over 10 years, primarily for my International Driving Permits, and they never disappoint. Beyond the sheer convenience of the location, the service here is truly second to none. The staff is professional, efficient, and always helpful. It is an awesome place with excellent services every single time. I wouldn't go anywhere else—highly recommended!

My visit was brief for some passport photos. My tier comes with passport photos (both physical and digital) with no additional charge. I maybe waited 2 minutes for a staff member to grab me, but i was in and out in 10 minutes. Great perk.

Near many apartments and across from public transportation, this location has it all. Friendly, organized, helpful, knowledgeable staff. Offer VA DMV car title and registration capabilities for members M-F 9-3pm.

This place should not offer DMV services. The 1 agent could not complete my title transfer. She directed me to fill out a form, she would not provide. With details, she did not explain. And visit a notary, which was not necessary. Appt at a full DMV, I printed a new piece of paper for sales tax, and a new printed title was in my hand I'm 10 minutes.

First and foremost, I appreciate the cleanliness and convenience of the facility. However, I’m giving it only 2 stars because the customer service is appalling. When I arrived, I filled out the form for the IDP. The front desk asked me to wait, and I sat down for 45 minutes without anyone calling me to start the process. Three employees were sitting at their desks, watching YouTube or movies, smiling at their computers screen as if they didn’t care about me. One of the employees, a woman sat at her desk, eating her snack and looking bored at me. She ignored me until I stood up and walked to the cashier’s front desk to ask about the wait time.
