We recently relocated to Massachusetts from Missouri, where we used an insurance agency mainly for the convenience of help with vehicle registration. I expected a similar experience here, but I regret the money and time we wasted using this agency. After spending several hours at the office, the best rate they could offer us for two vehicles was nearly $400 per month. Since we had already invested so much time, we reluctantly went with it. Later, we decided to shop around on our own and found coverage through Progressive for almost half the cost, with better coverage including rental car coverage that we did not have previously. The lack of value did not stop there. Multiple errors were made on the agency’s end, including entering our bank information incorrectly. As a result, we receive

Scam. Go online and get your own insurance. They quoted me over $350/mo for Progressive, and I paid $330/mo for Plymouth Rock for several months. Then I did a little research and got my own Progressive policy with the same exact coverages for $220/mo. When I canceled my PR policy, with 10 days left in the coverage period (1/3 of the month), I got a *$16* prorated refund on my paid premium. And A-Affordable told me to call PR to understand why it was next to nothing. Useless "agency".
