WellCare Health Plan

This insurance company doesn't provide patient advocacy. They don't seem to care about hospital over charges. Their customer service is the worst! They call my husband daily and want to send a nurse for him and there's no need nor reason. He tried to explain that and the Human on the phone, just reads from a script, like a telemarketer. Calling every day is harassment and not helpful! They don't cover as much as they claim and they really don't care about insurance fraud, nor their members.

They lay to me with $100 credit every month and after a few month they nuked to $45 And now I am paying for some of my medicine. The agent's are layer dont trust them when they call you. I am moving to defrent company.

Worst insurance company ever!. I went to see my primary care and was charged 142 dollars for my primary care visit. How? I paid the hospital for test. Complained to the state on ny. Wellcare said i should be re-imbursed by the hospital. I never was. Don't waste your time or money. Dr's offices are refusing to accept the wellcare heath insurance plan. Don't believe me, read the reviews

They took forever to approve my cancer center and doctor, denied my surgery. The worst part is they call me or I get mail from them every day, asking the same questions. Always wanted to end a nurse out. It’s ridiculous . This company holds my life in their hands!

Which healthcare plans to take advantage of well-cares vision plan but was not satisfied was told I was allotted $1,500 on my flex card towards vision dental and hearing to use at my discretion. Wasn't told, but actually only allowed 250 for glasses and the rest I can use at my discretion.
