Waccamaw Insurance truly is the best around. Austin Huxeford not only went above and beyond for our POA insurance policies but he did it before he had our business. Austin was very responsive to our calls, emails and any questions or concerns we had. Austin was not only professional but very personable as well, and he e is also very knowledgeable with regards to HOA/POA communities and the insurance requirements. Austin's attention to detail was his most impressive quality as he not only saved our members money but also found critical errors on our previous policies ( by our former agent) that could have been devastating to our community. It was a night and day experience dealing with Austin, we highly recommend Austin and Waccamaw Insurance!

I’ve been a customer for several years and definitely would not recommend Waccamaw Insurance. I was notified in March that a policy of mine was cancelled in November. After some research, it turns out that the finance company was given the wrong mailing address and bills were being sent to a vacant property. At the time I had some pressing family matters, and the fact that I didn’t receive bills was overlooked. To make matters worse, Waccamaw Insurance never notified me of any delinquency. When I called my agent to inquire as to why. She stated that they do not call clients regarding cancellations any more and yes, she gave the wrong mailing address, but they weren’t taking any responsibility for their error. I am being sued by the finance company and Waccamaw takes no responsibility. W

TERRIBLE!!! I have been with Waccamaw for 8-9 years and unknowingly not paying attention to my coverage because I trusted they had my best interest in mind--not true!!! After submitting a claim for my roof damaged in the hurricane and not getting it covered, I did some research. I had (past tense since I have since changed brokers) the most expensive insurance I could have and it didn't even pay my claim!!! Shame on me for not being informed and trusting this company to do what was best for me and not for them. I have since changed agencies. I thank them for teaching me a lesson; however, don't let them do the same to you!!!

Very responsive and customer service is top notch. Best homeowner's insurance I could find for east of ICW. **For any homeowner, it is our own responsibility to make sure our coverage is what is in our best interest. Sad to see someone blame the agency for failing to review their own coverage.** I ask for an annual review on all my insurance coverage, to make sure I know my deductibles, my coverage, and my premium is the best I can get. Thanks for being so responsive whenever I reach out. These ladies are fantastic!

Seems like a great company. I am considering moving to SC. And wanted info on insurance rates. They were great and gave me all kinds of useful info. The lady I spoke with offered me to call her with any address and she would be happy to give me ideas of how much coverage would be. If I move there I would be happy to use them.
