Farm Bureau is local, on my walking path. Agent and staff deserve A+ for accessibility. We’re new clients, but the staff has already won our trust. It helps that a trusted friend is an adjuster. Big companies have their advantages, but one disadvantage is they can become literally distant, less accessible, less accountable. Our former insurance company is the second company my wife and I have quit this summer for that reason. Ironically, we might have stayed with the insurance company except for a blatant con they tried to pull. Small doesn’t guarantee more virtue, but more accountability, and snowballs grow larger as they roll downhill.
