Had I rated them back when I started my first policy with them in 2009, I would say 5 stars and some. But as of late this business is going in a different direction. For the last few years I keep seeing increases despite not having any claims. Today was the topper. I called because they had my address wrong for my renters insurance and the girl who answered was extremely rude, wouldn't say if this would affect my premium, and basically treated me like I was bothering her. As a long time customer I know this is not how the family ran it years before. It saddens me to see that their customer service is basically non existent and customers seem to be a bother. Maybe they forgot that customers are the reason they are in business. Once I can find a better premium for my policies, I am GONE! So

Was told they would cover my modifications, after 3 months i take my car out of storage and then they send me a letter dropping my insurance because my car is modified. In that 3 months myself and others who switched to this company were receiving letters from pennDOT saying we didn't have insurance so multiple calls later that was straightened out. They did go out of their way to find me someone to cover my car but after i switched to that company 2 months later nationwide reactivated my account for reasons unknown from their service department. I just received a letter from pennDOT today saying nationwide sent in another cancellation of insurance so pennDot sent me papers saying I can't drive my, car my registration is under suspension due to dropping insurance.
