I had a very disappointing experience with Alder Adjusting during my insurance claim. My assigned agent was extremely uncommunicative, and when he did respond, his tone was curt and unkind. At one point, my questions were completely ignored, which only added to the stress of an already difficult situation. While I understand that insurance companies may sometimes pay out the minimum, what was most frustrating was the lack of communication and transparency. I was not given the opportunity to adequately go over the details of my claim or have my concerns addressed. There was no meaningful discussion, guidance, or explanation. Bought home 2 years ago this December. Realised the kitchen started sinking. Had the floors gutted, which led to finding even more damages. Needless to say our kitchen is gone, half our living room. Have contacted multiple time, phone calls, emails... not a single reply back. To anyone looking at using this company, turn the other way! A brick wall will be more responsive.

I have a home in Georgia I there was a severe storm in 2017 and another 2019 my roof and deck was hard hit with hail, water and wind damage. Universal wouldn't cover any damage in 2017, however for the 2019 damage they only covered partial of the roof and none of the deck. My opinion Don't do business with them. I don't know why they have a 4 star rating. Maybe they bought them.

I had water damage from an upstairs bathroom supply line. I minimized further damage by shutting water, to entire house off. I called licensed plumber and they found broken line and repaired In order to repair, cuts were made in downstairs ceiling to locate line. Line repaired and fix. An Universal Property adjuster came out and took pictures related to damage and what the plumber did. Now this ALDER, COMPANY ADJUSTER SENDS OUT EMAIL SAYING I NEED COLOR COPIES OF HOME INSPECTION ( 10 MONTHS AGO) are you freaking kidding me. Why didn't they ask for copy of inspection AT THE TIME OF THE HOUSE INSPECTION when purchased 10 months ago. That has nothing to do with the claim but to try to DENY-DENY-DENY-DENY.

I am temporarily removing the details of my review until we get this matter solved. But please trust me, this one-star review is earned, and they don't even deserve that.
