I called to resolve access to two UHA accounts and update the email on file. I was unable to access one account and faced payment issues because I couldn’t log in. The representative Gimna repeatedly interrupted me and seemed to confuse my group number with a division number. My other email on file is inactive/non-existent, and my security questions did not work, yet the rep reset my account. I was told enrollment would handle the email change, but I was left on hold for a long time and did not receive the form needed to update the email. I was told to contact Enrollment and she had another rep send me and email of the form I needed. but I wasn’t given a direct transfer option or a case/reference number. This wasted a lot of time and I did not feel heard or helped. I’d recommend better rou

I’ve experienced several issues with UHA recently. First, in October, my health plan was terminated without any warning or explanation, leaving me unable to fill a prescription. I had to scramble and pay out of pocket to get the medication. Eventually, my plan was reinstated, but the drug plan was not, leading to another week of unnecessary stress. This month, I encountered yet another problem. When trying to fill a prescription on a Saturday, I was informed it now required prior authorization. With no one available to assist until Monday, I had to pay out of pocket again—this time, a significant amount. I made two calls for resolution. The first person assured me someone would follow up, but after two hours of silence, I had to call back and insist the issue be resolved immediately. The

Had to go an urgent care that didn’t accept uha. They said to file a claim with Uha and I did. I had to go back and forth with uha because they needed proof. So I sent them the receipts and they needed the reason for me going in. They said they would refund me and I thought got my reimbursement today. The only mail I got from them is that they “NEED TO FURTHER INVESTIGATE THE CLAIM.” Are you BSing me right now !!! On the website it’s been paid but all I get is a paper saying that crap.

My UHA representative Hiapo was extremely helpful when a mistake was made in my billing statement. Turned my anxiety and frustration to ease. I really appreciate the willingness to help the situation. Give this man a raise. He is extremely good at his job and takes care.

Where do I start.... I absolutely am extremely disappointed not only in the coverage of network but specifically the prior auth team. I have stage 3 cancer. You would think since I'm paying for (non-par) coverage I would get to advocate and choose where I spend the 1000s of dollars this insurance won't approve or cover. But instead I have to get permission to get specialty care on the mainland. The board that approves the authorizations are not educated in most New procedures...they have no Idea what Proton therapy is and why it is beneficial for unusual tumors and lymph node metastasis and that's alarming. How can a request be denied if the knowledge about the requested procedure is lacking. Second how can a doctor be on the board of approvals and not have knowledge about things like immu
