I purchased insurance from this agent in January when I bought a new car, but decided to go back to my old company in Feburary when I found out that it was cheaper for better coverage. I called to request cancellation a week before the new month's policy period (and payment) and was told I would be emailed a form to sign. I never got it. So i just let the insurance lapse. 2 weeks later I got a call from the same person I spoke to asking to cancel telling me my payment was late. I reminded her I had asked her to send me the cancellation form and was told she would "make a note of it." That was the last I heard from them. Today I received a bill from National General insurance for coverage for three weeks after I asked to cancel PLUS the month of coverage for February I had already paid for
