Absolutely terrible experience with Travelers Insurance. They were quick to take my money but completely unreliable when it came time to honor a claim. My claim was denied with what felt like generic, scripted responses and zero real effort to help. Customer service is beyond frustrating — long waits, no accountability, and agents who seem more focused on protecting the company than actually helping policyholders. Every interaction felt dismissive and unprofessional. The entire process feels designed to wear you down rather than resolve anything fairly. If you expect support when something goes wrong, look elsewhere. This company has been a complete disappointment.

Travelers Denied 43% of Documented Water Mitigation Costs - Claim #JAQ2273 After experiencing water damage in September 2025, I filed a covered claim with Travelers Insurance. While they ultimately approved the rebuild work, Claims Professional Alex Lesones and his manager Lisa Tully refused to pay $2,671 (43%) of our contractor's documented mitigation invoice. Our contractor provided moisture readings, photos, and detailed documentation for $6,200 in necessary work including removing 100-year-old water-damaged materials. Travelers only approved $3,529. The adjustment process was exhausting: First, they said IICRC standards only supported 3 days of drying (our documentation showed 4 were needed) Then they claimed two dehumidifiers weren't needed for rooms on separate floors After pressure

Not even one star. I have been going around and around for months providing the information 8 times via mail, fax and email and USPO with receipts and still there is an issue. This was a hail claim and now turned into utter stupidity. I do not get call backs even though when i email and request a confirmation. I would not recommend them.

Believe all the negative reviews. This company is a joke. Starting from the customer representative Melisa, who on Monday still have VM that it’s still Friday and she is out, and who according to the claim supervisor makes decisions on claims and how damage occurred. Mr. Ray “the appraiser” have zero knowledge and refusing to give any paperwork how the determination of eligibility was made. One word CIRCUS 🤡. This company definitely needs to be audited and investigated. Anyone who got affected by negligence of this company please contact me for filing joined petition to investigate and audit this company.

I have been a Travelers Insurance customer for 60 years. Yes , 60, since they insured my first car. Since then they have covered my homes and automobiles, some times two of each at once. This week I was informed that they would not renew my homeowners policy. When I questioned this I was told that they took an aerial photo and decided that I needed a new roof and that there was debris in my yard. Upon looking out the window I noticed that there were trees in my yard. Is that what they meant? Who knows. We have a thirty year roof and it is far from the end of its life. The agent was unable to satisfactorily explain this situation, though no explanation would satisfy me.
