Thurmond Insurance

Updated review: Since my original one star review, things have improved and my insurance renewal was much smoother. The issues I mentioned in my former review have been addressed. The admin staff (especially Gracie) have great customer service. However, it is extremely hard to get a hold of agents, whether by email or by phone. I always get "they are in a meeting" or "they are out". The office has no secure system for receiving payments so I have to call it in to leave my information with one of the agents or send it via email. I thought working directly with an agent would make things easier, especially one who was sending mailers to ask for business.

Everything's good so long as you don't miss any payments or come into a financial emergency because they will try to screw you financially. I found I can get better rates and better coverage by seeking out my own insurance than dealing with these people. Find someone else.

Received unsolicited snail mail that advertised insurance services. I emailed Shannon Thurmond to request information about auto and homeowners insurances. I received a brief questionnaire through email, and I replied the same day with responses. One month later, still no response, even after doing a followup several days later. I suppose they are full-up on business and cannot accept new clients, which seems to conflict with the idea of sending out mailers. Cannot recommend them to anyone based on Shannon's unresponsiveness.

Noelle Thurmond at Thurmond Insurance has always helped us find the lowest rates and given us the best service!! We have a new teen driver and she was very helpful and informative on how to best suit his needs and ours as well with best insurance price, ways he can save, and many things we would not have known about to help us all out! She is very knowledgeable and fast on serving our needs! Thurmond Insurance is the best!!

I am a new customer to Thurmond Insurance and I am please with the entire enrollment process.
