Don't waste your time with this place, they dropped the ball on my signing and I had no benefits for a month and they never contacted me when I got in touch with them they said it was a computer glitch and couldn't do anything about it, I called UPMC they had no record of me and signed me up over the phone, so there is no reason to use The Health Insurance place, they did more harm than help I would not recommend them to anyone.

I highly don't recommend them. They were not pleasant, didn't look like they liked their jobs to well. They were not mean, but definitely wasted a trip for nothing. I highly recommend Nicole Stormer from Insurance Sevices LLC on Eisnehower Boulevard.

Insurance can be overwhelming, I had initially found The Health Insurance Place, to be a good place to have as a broker. Doug,was friendly and seemingly, knowledgeable and informative. Unfortunately in my particular situation, Doug was apparently ill informed, or purposely led me astray (I called the office twice,but never received a call back),in the 12 years I've been on Medicare, I never carried a part D,prescription plan(something Doug was well aware of),so I am now being financially penalized, which I'd had no idea would or could happen,my monthly premium, which was supposed to be $23,is now $70,THAT is a substantial difference, it more than tripled my monthly payment. It is my opinion, ANY Insurance broker,ought to be knowledgeable about every single aspect of what they're selling,an

We made an appointment and was even early to it. We were to meet with a Charles to go over some health care information. When we came in we were told he was busy but would be with us in a few minutes. We waited patiently for 20 past our appointment time and no one would even give us an update, no one came out to tell us when he was to be available and they took 2 others off the street while we waited so after 20 minutes past our appointment time we left and they never even called to apologize or to ask why we left but of course they knew why.
