Texas Farm Bureau Insurance Company

I make payments on my auto insurance each week rather than lump sum. I went with Texas Farm Bureau because I like the idea of knowing my agent and enjoy being treated like a human being. I had around $20 left to pay on my insurance on 12/21 (when the payment was due) and I received a call being told my policy was cancelled due to non-payment. I had already paid 95% of it and was going to pay the final $20 that very day but rather than call me to warn me or try and collect payment they simply cancelled the policy. If you're going to treat customers this way I might as well go to Geico or another one of the large insurance companies. I would avoid this company at all costs.
