TDIC - The Dentists Insurance Company

I have worked through a number of insurance issues over the 40 plus years in my dental practice. TDIC has always been a positive experience with favorable outcomes. The many peoply I have worked with have always been very knowledable, helpful, and efficient usually providing a service beyond my expectations. It was a great experience to work with Mr. Thompson, Lehan, TDIC Account Manager, for my tail coverage of dental liability insurance. Mr. Thompson was really helpful, knowledgeable, and prompt reaction to all my questions and concerns. Perfect 5 stars for MR. Thompson and TDIC.

They require expensive membership with multiple societies. But they don’t tell you until after dragging you through prolonged application process. They have no respect for your time, and they don't care.

I have been a great client of TDIC since I became a dentist in 1997. They dropped me out of the blue and their agent said they've just been dropping people with no cause. Once you're dropped it's harder and way more expensive to get insurance. So they really hurt me there. They also submitted a claim when I just called about advice so I have 3 claims on my insurance where the patient was never involved I just wanted advice. Also making it more difficult to get different insurance. I would stay away as they are dropping long time clients and leaving us in a tough situation.

I like that TDIC is dentist-owned, so there is no ulterior motive for profit but rather to do what is best for policyholders. Service is great with fairly priced premiums. I am proud to support a company that supports dentists and is not purely driven by profit for shareholders.
