Stephen Kuhn: Allstate Insurance

Stephen is a nice guy (most of the time), but I'd look elsewhere for a rep to help you out. He made some promises that rates would go down later in the year in order to help convince me to purchase a home/auto bundle with him, but those rates never came down, and then he denied making those claims and blamed Corporate for not lowering rates. On top of all that, my car rate actually went up 6 months later, so I call to see what's up, and he manages to somehow keep my rate the same. Takes my payment info to pay for the renewed coverage and I see a few weeks later nothing has been paid, and I'm getting emails that I'm past due. After MULTIPLE calls back and forth with him, my coverage actually increases ONCE AGAIN, and he blames Corporate and corporate software for messing things up. In gen

TL:DR Feel free to get all but not from Stephen Kuhn. Stephen Kuhn has no brain. Him and his staff can't figure out the resolution to basic problems with all of the clues in front of them and once presented to me with all of the information, I figured out the issue. Stephen proceeds to blame me for him and his staff's incompetence when it is their job to figure out why there's an issue so I have a seamless insurance experience. I had 3 policies and 2 would get taken out of my account just fine and for some reason the renters always had trouble. Him and his staff who have all of the information could not figure it out when I did it in 5 seconds. All I knew was 2 would work and one wouldn't. Called this office for a quote. The person answering the phone gave a disinterested "hello" when she answered my call. She did not identify the business or her name until I asked. This response gave me a huge red flag. Sorry, you lost my business as you lost me at hello.

I had been with American Family Insurance since age 16, so I hesitated to switch. Steve and his team are first-rate; I saved money and got more comprehensive coverage. Totally satisfied with his willingness to engage and answer questions. Why did I wait so long? I am delighted with Allstate (plus, they have great commercials!).
