Starmount Life Insurance Company

My daughter is insured by them for many years now. I notice they stopped charging my card for the payments. I tried calling and I'm getting Unum. They told me there site was being worked and to worry. She's still insured. I also gave the information for her policy, but they can't find it what? Has anyone else noticed that it reads been in business for 7 years? We started in about 2010.

Stay far away from this shady company. I purchased dental insurance from them in 2017. It never auto-renewed and I had to call each year to renew it. In 2020, I was about to graduate school but purchased one last year of dental insurance. In 2021 I graduated, started working, and got dental insurance from my employer. I was charged in 2021 by starmount on auto renew for my policy AND the rate had doubled without my knowledge or consent to the rate change and the auto charge. I called the company and they were horrible to me. Extremely rude and basically told me I’m SOL. I escalated to a manager and she was slightly more helpful in that she could actually cancel my plan but still unable to refund the charge that I never authorized. I ended up having to dispute the transaction with my bank.

Terrible to deal with and not very good of getting back to you at all . Would not recommend them at all for their services !!

I would give less stars if possible. After having for over 5 years they sent letter saying they had sent a notice needing my credit card info updated which I never received so they cancelled 2months prior to the letter I actually received. They gave number to call and you can't get through for they say I am not showing up as a member. Why give 2 numbers that you can't get through to? Just say cancelled.

Two years of coverage and out of the blue I noticed they stopped charging my premium on my credit card. No letter, email, or phone call . Just dropped. Log on was disabled as well.
