Had a very negative experience with Spencer Insurance. Called last week indicating I was contacting them regarding changing insurance companies, saw they were local and thought I'd call them for assistance. The receptionist was polite, said someone would call. A woman named Denise called me, I explained what I was looking for and that my current insurance policy was due for renewal soon. She said she would get back to me. Did not hear back from her last week but realized it was labor day weekend. Waited to Wednesday of this week and called back. Informed receptionist I had not heard from Denise and would have to go elsewhere soon. It is Friday night and no call back. I have not filed an insurance claim in many, many years. Would have been a good customer. Vary disappointed.

Spencer has handled my insurance for forty years, both auto and home. Obviously, Charlie and his staff have done a great job or I wouldn't have continued to renew. Spencer's is the only company I know of that calls you to let you know they've found a better price for your policies. They have always looked out for my interests and have never pushed me into a product. I appreciate the high degree of professionalism and courtesy they offer and boy, are they helpful. It is never a problem for them to look up information and get back to me in a timely manner. I am looking to change my phone and heating companies, but definitely not my insurance broker. I think I may be Spencer's client for twenty more years.
