Used them to clear my title, six months later a lien shows up they missed and they said it was my fault and wouldn't help take care of it. They called me a liar and because i signed an affidavit saying that that was all my debt they will not take care of this for me. So they don't do what their job is and then any mistakes they make they hold you responsible for it and your left with a screwed title that they should have fixed for you. FACTS!!

We used the Silk Title Company’s services to conduct closing of my brother’s house and refinancing my house. I was initially scared because it was located in a different state and all process was being done online. But when I compared their fees, it was half the price of other companies in our area. They sent a notary officer who got all the signatures. The associates of company were well-spoken over the phone and professional. I highly recomend to use this company for any notary or home closing related needs.

They have great technology integration which makes it very easy to submit and retrieve orders, schedule closings and request additional documents. Mel, from Silk Title, contacted me the same day I had emailed a mortgage company about the mortgage company’s lack of response for three weeks. She remained in contact with me correcting errors, providing details, and guiding me in filling out paperwork correctly.When all was completed in 48 hours I thanked her for her superior service. She said it was a team effort and her funding manager made it possible for the wire transfer to be completed in such a timely manner. This team from Silk Title turned a very stressful situation into a smoothly and professionally handled transaction.

Silk Title has been extremely difficult and incompetent to work with. I was forced to reschedule FOUR times before they could finally straighten out their end of the closing documents. Communication between the notary, mortgage lender, and title company seemed non-existent. The mobile notary hired by Silk Title was also difficult to work with. The notary did not provide a comfortable meeting location, unfortunately due to their inability to make proper arrangements, we were forced to sign closing disclosures in the backseat of my vehicle. I understand the notary is probably an independent contractor, but nonetheless they were hired by Silk Title. Overall I would not recommend Silk Title Co. to anyone.
