Had Sihle for two years as my insurance broker. This company cannot seem to retain employees as I had four different people handling my policy in the two years with them. When I had a claim I was told to call the insurance carrier directly. When the claim was denied the insurance company wanted information or was going to be canceled. The broker didn’t inquire why or even advocate in any way shape or form for me. This company simply gets paid to push paper and be a middle man. I removed my policy from them and signed up with a new broker who intervened on my behalf and straightened out the mess with the insurance carrier like Sihle should have done. I want to take a moment to recognize Holly James, who I have worked with now for quite a few years with my car insurance. She has always been amazing at communication and always finding me great deals with my auto quotes. It got a little more complicated this year because my son needed a separate policy since he moved away. I thought we would have to go researching but we didn't. As soon as I let Holly know she was immediately on it. Not only did she help me but she helped my son as well and we were able to renew our policies. Holly, James is an amazing asset to the company and I appreciate all she does. Thank you!.

My escrow account always fell short every year . I was 198 dollars short again this year, turned out Shile has been billing me for additional coverages I never signed up for outside of contract. They agreed to refund the money even after threatening to drop me but it's been months and I have not received a check. I was told by them because I did not respond to their mail they assumed I wanted the additional coverage and enrolled me. This was outside of contract. To me this is plain theft and I have dropped them. Don't waste your time.

I’m extremely disappointed with this insurance company. They withdrew $248 from my escrow account completely outside of the agreed-upon contract terms. There was no prior notice, and no authorization on my part. The charges where from extra coverages I did not agree upon. When I called the bank they stated they withdrew the funds to the company because the company threatened to drop me. This is theft, plain and simple. If you value your time, money, and peace of mind, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere for insurance.

Been with them for 10 years. I sign a form every year for the amount of money I will be charged that both parties agree to. Example is $2000 for escrow I pay. At the end of the year they send me a bill for an extra $50 stating total is $2050. Letter says pay the $50 dollars immediately or be dropped. I call explain the contract I signed in writing stated $2000. Their argument is ''automatically implied consent'' meaning I didn't sign the forms to opt out of the additional coverages separate from the contract so you are assumed enrolled. By the way the forms are buried in a 100 page packet you get every new contract. So not responding to their additional offers means your automatically enrolling yourself.
