Shelter Insurance - Randall Baker

My homeowners insurance policy was canceled after I provided information that was requested of me expeditiously. The fault somehow fell on me a year later, after adequate evidence was provided, the "home office" still decided to cancel my policy. Customer service is great, but it doesn't matter when I'm now having to pay more money than I should and my policy is altered because I have dogs. None of this even makes sense. If homeowners insurance is a requirement, private insurance companies that BANK off of my hard-earned dollar shouldn't be able to dictate the animals I have on my property. Now I'm without liability coverage, because of dogs. This is such a scam.

The people with shelter insurance at the Sallisaw location are friendly and helpful. I think this is the best insurance for the price. I have used the Road assistance that comes with my insurance a few times and was very glad I had it. Check out Shelter Auto Insurance it's a good deal.

I have been with Shelter insurance for 15 or more years. I started when George Glenn ran the office. I am sad to say since he has passed away it’s not been the same. I use to know every person that worked there by name and they knew me personally. I’ve tried to stay a customer since his passing. However, my insurance kept going up in price as my cars got older. I’ve never had any significant wrecks or claims. When I called to cancel, because I found insurance through progressive for literally half of what I was paying a month with shelter, there was no concern in the stranger I talked with. They just didn’t care. Even though I’ve been a loyal customer for years.. sad that I felt like I was just talking to another corporate company.

The insurance agent was very pleasant and nice, but the auto insurance rates were more expensive than State Farm. Remember this is my very own personal experience, and each person’s automobile needs are very unique.

I was able to purchase auto insurance over the phone and they mailed all the documents to me the same day. It was easy-peasy-lemon-squeezy! Thanks for everything guys!
