Shay & Associates Insurance

You must trust your insurance agent 100% and Brad has been anything but trustworthy. I won't go into all of the details here; however he had bad excuses/gaslighting and really sketchy billing. Avoid doing business with Brad at all costs!

Being new to Washington I needed new car insurance, and was referred to Brad Shay & 'Associates' by a reputable car repair shop that has done excellent work for me and which I trust. In order to save myself time, energy and petrol I first emailed Mr. Shay to find out whether I needed an appointment or if I could just walk in. Mr. Shay replied that I did not need an appointment, I could come in as a walk-in, and that he could also do my insurance online. He included a form to fill out history and information for a quote, but the form was not interactive, a read-only document. Since I prefer to handle new business in person upon first acquaintance, I decided to go into the office rather than conduct something as important as obtaining car insurance 'online'. I was working with a couple of other brokers and Brad was fast and got me the best deal. I had never dealt with commercial insurance and he was patient and explained everything that I wanted to know. Everyone here was absolutely great. I would recommend them for all your insurance needs!

Totally disappointed. I used this agency because someone I knew worked there. That person moved out of state and I contacted this agency to make changes to my policy I've called and left messages and emailed numerous times and no response. Beyond pissed off and will definitely be finding a new agency.

Brad is completely incompetent at his job, avoid them at all costs.
