Ryan Garrett: Allstate Insurance

Overall, it's been an excellent experience with Ryan and Allstate. Ryan takes the time to ensure he's answered your questions as best he can, and the payment of premiums and access to statements is fairly convenient. My only criticism is not receiving a clear explanation of how or why certain discounts are or aren't applied.

I first worked with his agency last year to put together an insurance policy for a new home under construction. My initial contact message was replied to promptly, and within days we had a complete policy package that met our needs as well as NC state insurance regulations would allow. When we received the Certificate of Occupancy earlier this year, we contacted this agency again, to activate the policy. Once again his office's response was prompt and complete. To date, this agency has met all our needs fully, with competence, professionalism, and a pleasant attitude. We look forward to moving our car insurance policies to his office.

Sky high pricing. Got a quote from Progressive for the same coverage and my rate went from 282/mo for 2 adult drivers with perfect driving records, down to 125/month. Very friendly when you sign up, not so friendly when you cancel. I do not recommend.

My property insurance went up drastically with Progressive. Since there was a death in the family, I had only about 2 weeks to shop for a new insurance carrier. Upon my friend’s recommendation, I called Ryan Garrett Allstate. I spoke to Crystal on July 22, 2024, about a new policy to take effect on August 2, 2024. The new policy would save me about $500.00. I gave her my routing number for payment but never signed any forms. Before I got to the forms emailed to me for signature, I received a quote from Erie for $1,000 less. As a senior citizen on a fixed income, I wanted to get a better deal. I called Crystal at Allstate immediately, and she requested an email from me to confirm the cancelation. Mind you, I never had the policy because I never signed it. I emailed her as requested at 1:00

Ryan and his team are always available and familiar with our insurance choices and let us know where we can save, when possible. Recently during a rather contentious claim Ryan helped to streamline communications. Great team!
