I am very disappointed with my experience. When I first signed up with Jessica Wilson at Ryan Carlson American Family Insurance, I was told I would receive a discount if I paid my policy in full, which I did using my credit card over the phone. What was not disclosed was that I also needed to have a bank account on file for autopay in order to avoid extra fees. A month later, I received an email saying I still had a balance because of this hidden requirement. This was never communicated upfront, and I only found out after being charged unnecessarily. I have never had an agent do this before. Now I have to spend my own time fixing something that should not have happened in the first place. I cannot recommend Ryan at American Family Insurance enough. Ryan and his team (I am looking at you Heather) has partnered with me for over the past decade on my house insurance. About 4 years ago I shopped around and found that Ryan agency offered the best Life and Auto coverage at the best price. Recently, I worked with Heather to reassess my insurance needs and added an Umbrella policy for the coverage I needed, at an even better premium. My wife and I have been a State Farm insurance for years I’ve had no problems. Recently we decided to try to save a little money and we’re recommended to Ryan Carlson‘s agency. We moved three cars and our home insurance over and it was a super easy process and saved us just over $400 a year. Shortly after we moved we had our first claim and it was handled quickly and the office was extremely responsive. They quickly helped us get the claim cleaned up! I have been a residential insurance holder with the Ryan Carlson agency for 15 years, I did take a brief leave to a “less expensive” agency almost 6 years ago, and it was the worst 3 months I’ve ever experienced, so i went back to Ryan Carlson’s American Family and I’ve been very pleased.
