Roy Nelson - State Farm Insurance Agent

We recently moved from New Mexico to Texas and as stressful as that is, Roy Nelson and his staff were awesome in making the transition seamless regarding our homeowners and auto insurance. We have been clients of State Farm for 50+ years and highly recommend Roy and his team. You won't be disappointed.

I had another agent completely mess up my account. I switched to Roy Nelson and Michelle fixed everything perfectly. Every time I have a question, or a concern they to out of their way to answer or explain anything I need. I've been with them for years and even when prices rise I choose to stay with them for their amazing customer service and the true care they give their customers.

I was hit by another motorist that was underinsured and I followed Roy’s instructions on how to go about making the claims. Statefarm then denied my claim for the remainder after the other insurance and gap paid out. Do not trust these people. They are literally liars. Now I’m having to get a lawyer for an accident that I wasn’t at fault for even though I had full coverage and gap and did EXACTLY what Roy Nelson himself instructed me to do. Do yourself a favor and look up all the lawsuits against statefarm before trusting them to insure you and be there when you need them. I wish I could give negative stars. These people disgust me. They played me a fool when I trusted them to help me resolve my accident.

Not skilled in anything other than simple claims and basic services. Do not trust this company. They will lie and navigate their way, leave you in the mess they are supposed to clean up with other companies like insurance agents do. It’s in their scope. Or should be.

This person did in fact become suicidal and had to be facilitated as of 8/1/2024. He is not an agent nor did he pass board exams to be one, so that’s where your licensed agents or yourself Mr. Nelson take over, as your job and responsibility when you took that role to fight for your insured. You don’t “step in”. That’s your job, your choice in career.You’re not an assistant. You are the agent. The agency.
