Roy Houde - State Farm Insurance Agent

I recently switched my car insurance to this agency from Progressive. From beginning to end, the process was very fast and super easy! The representative (Dawn) that helped me with my transfer was extremely professional, knowledgeable, friendly and very helpful. She was able to answer any and all questions I had, explained everything to me in detail and she was able to send a copy of my policy and insurance cards to me while still on the phone with her. I also had the pleasure of meeting and speaking to Roy, the agent, and he too was very professional, friendly and welcomed me to their office. I highly recommend this office for your insurance needs and have also referred my friends and family to this office.

I have had plenty of insurance policies over the years and Roy Houde is honestly the only one I would never feel good about recommending. I would actually advise people not to use Roy Houde as I believe you will regret it. Please use a different company or seek out other State Farm agents. This has NOTHING to do with a claim. This is just an honest review by a family that used Roy Houde as an agent for MANY years and we feel others should know that once he has your business, he will NOT be there for you and instead will make everything more difficult. He also shouldnt be in the customer service field because he is arrogant once he has your business and not at all helpful. (should have left long ago) Your choice, but don't say I didn't warn you!

If the option was to provide a negative star rating, i would. I also would not recommend State farm or going to this office to anyone. I have had several issues with this office. Even just to mail a simple fax, which could not be done properly. My license was suspended for months due to the incorrect information this office provided me. A simple fax containing information was never done. i waited over 3 months for them to be able to fax an incorrect paper. Which i was finally able to due myself. I have waited over four months to receive a refund, since i have cancelled my policy with them. NOTHING WAS EVER RESOLVED BY CALLING THIS OFFICE. I contacted general customer service everytime due to their incompetence. I CALLED GENERAL CUSTOMER SERVICE AND THEY HUNG UP ON ME

State farm the worse.They will take ur money but do not pay claims. Take long time pay if they pay any. Do not pay diminished value. Had them for 40 years. 👎 They were advertising on Facebook and left comments on. Over 90 percent were negative. Then took the option away so you could not leave comments.

Roy is one of the best agents State Farm has to offer. My family has been with them for over 50 years !
