Progressive Insurance

Progressive allowed a company vehicle owned by an LLC to be paid out under my personal policy, issuing a payment of $23,398.90 to my employer—even though the claim involved a commercial vehicle being used for work. Instead of holding the policyholder accountable for what I believe was insurance fraud and a clear violation of their commercial-use rules, Progressive upgraded their policy after the fact and charged everything to mine. Now I am in court dealing with the consequences of their decision. This is unacceptable, especially from a company as large and experienced as Progressive. Their handling of this claim has been unfair, careless, and has caused me serious financial and legal problems.
