Progressive Insurance - Claims Office

I filled out some information online. I got a great quote. Then they did some more research on me and decided my car insurance rate went up $400. They said I had an accident this last year. I did not—I only had a windshield chip. The person I spoke to in India said I had to call my dmv. I called my dmv. They confirmed I did not have an accident. They told me to call back to the insurance 🤷‍♀️ what i have learned is that progressive has horrible info and will make you pay for things you haven’t done

I change my insurance and they Want to charge me for the whole month of payments of their insurance that i wont be using . You pay month till month why would I pay for something I'm not using

Progressive is very unprofessional. They assign you agents that never call you back or respond to anything. They just want your money and don't fix the problem. Dontae Bailey and everyone else that's affiliated with him. When are you too busy to talk to your customers. I called them several times and no one answered every time I called. My car sat down almost a month at a shop before I could really talk to someone. I had to borrow someone car to get around. I sent several messages still no answer. When I got response it was from a the person with a estimate that still didn't list everything that was damaged. I was rear-ended by someone with no insurance and had no prior problems with my car before that. I sent pics and videos .I told them over the phone what was damaged that wasn't listed.

Premium is more expensive than average insurance company’s What’s even worse is when I issued a claim, they were awfully rude and not helpful at all. I had a terrible time to get an approval. I switched it to other company. I totally regret to be a progressive customer for many years.

Progressive is a very expensive insurance company. I’ve had them for 6 months and when it was time to renew my insurance went up almost $200. I called in to see why and they advised me I had a discount that I can no longe get any more which I never knew I had it to begin with, which is very unprofessional. No agent ever advised me I had a discount that will take my insurance up almost $200 if I wanted to renew. If you are thinking about getting progressive just know after the first 6 month be prepared for a big increase at the time of renewal.
