Progressive Home Insurance (ASI)

Do not use Progressive ASI! We got them for our first home and had a significant loss. They dragged their feet the entire time we were trying to resolve the claim. They lowballed us so bad! We weren’t even originally estimated enough to get half of our claim back. My original adjuster told me that the quotes I got seemed “too expensive” when they were in fact the cheapest in our area. Then, after several months, we FINALLY got the last of our insurance checks in to pay the contractor, and they sent us a letter saying they were going to non renew us. Don’t waste your time

I don't know why I chose Progressive. Their name is great for progressively hurting their own not at fault customers. Progressive Insurance is not helping me after another driver ran a red light. Multiple Witnesses, police reports and lawyers show it was clearly not the fault of mine. The major problem is that the other driver also had Progressive Insurance. Neither one wants to reimburse me my deductible. Progressive's adjuster is lacking the ability to return calls and gives her managers ( wrong ) phone number if we choose to call her. I have been waiting hours for a return call and wouldn't surprise me if this will continue for days.

This Progressive Home Insurance (ASI) company is a scam. After a wind storm blowing down my fence, I filed a claim and at the same time found some contractors to estimate the repair costs. While the contractors suggested to replace the whole fence with estimated costs around $18,000, they also provided repair plans with estimated costs around $5,000. Progressive Home Insurance (ASI) said I only needed to repair a few fence posts and re-use all other materials (which are clearly damaged and not re-attachable), and determined the claim to be only $1,200. Deducting the $1,000 deductible, this company only paid me $200. This is ridiculous. Please run away from this scam!

This claims experience has been dreadful. I have suffered a catastrophic loss to my home and Progressive has not been the catalyst of trust they claim to be. The appraiser who came out for the home inspection wrote for minimal damages. I then had to provide multiple supplements which took a lot of time due to poor communication from my supplemental adjuster, Jose. While Jose was slow to help with the supplement process he was very kind and understanding. I had to submit photos of the missed damage by the initial appraiser for my siding and shed. I then waited for weeks to hear something back only to be told now I have to send in a siding sample. I sent that in and it came back to only be told I needed to get the measurements. Worst experience of my life. No one know what they are doing at this company, its amazing it is still functioning. The claims "specialist", Jesse Jenkins wouldn't return my calls for months and never actually did. I had to setup up everything like I was an employee of this horrible company. I also had to call in to get the claims completed and paid out. They cant even send a receipt without having to be called multiple times to tell them the proper email address. If you are considering this company, I highly recommend looking elsewhere. Id rather eat glass than deal with this again.
