Pat Olguin Agency/Lighthouse

First of all this agency is by far one of the worst that I have ever tried to work with. From reading the reviews that should have deterred me from even trying to work with them in the first place. But I gave them the benefit of the doubt as they came recommended. Upon first contact Mr Pat Olguin, was very rude, extremely abrasive and very condescending toward my specific situation. After being treated this way by him and his Wife I was very upset and I could not believe that a person existed that would treat a potential customer so poorly. I immediately contacted my close friend (a customer of theirs) and they too confirmed this very behavior with even them. And they have been with Progressive for a very long time. I used this ins agency for years. Never had a claim, always made my payment. Had to call the office and his wife was so rude! I asked for Pat to call me and he was even worse. Clearly from their other reviews not much has changed in the years since we left. It might be best to hang up the gloves....or maybe get a better receptionist.

BEWARE!!! – Take your business elsewhere; poor customer service. I’ve been a State Farm customer since age 16 and was interested in comparing prices following a recent change in auto. I contacted Pat Olguin insurance because they are a local agent and able to quote for progressive. I even emailed my policies to the agency to get an apples to apples quote for comparison. After 3+ weeks sending multiple emails, making phone calls, and voice messages, I still haven’t received a quote or even a call back. If the agency isn’t interested in new business, I can’t imagine how poor they must be at servicing their current policies. Terrible customer service, or lack thereof. Left all my information for car, home and umbrella insurance through progressive. 1 week later no call back. I called and Pat personally promised to call back. Again no return calls. He was also not aware progressive now carries business insurance.

Mr. Olguin & his wife are very rude! Rather than having to deal with them, I call Progressive and make my monthly payment over the phone! I wouldn't recommend them.
