NJM Insurance Group

This company used to be amazing with great rates. I was such a believer in this company and told everyone about them. They have gone very much downhill and I'm not sure why. I am moving back into the area so I tried to get a quote from NJM. The experience was mind-bogglingly awful. The customer service agent was not helpful and there was no commonsense in the process. The questions that were asked made assumptions without even checking-in on the assumptions. The prices are absolutely outlandish as well. Some of the worst we've seen when calling around for quotes. They were almost 2x the price for the same exact coverage. Between the customer service and the bad prices, steer clear! Safe yourself. Lol. So bad.

I’ve been with NJM for 9years, first time using their tow service. Didn’t show up. They charge me $6 in excess of the $75 that’s covered by the insurance. But didn’t get to use. What’s the point of paying their high premium if they can’t provide you the service at all? So disappointed. I guess it’s time to switch to a different insurance company.

Used to be a great company. Have had them for over 25 years. Just filed my first claim with them in 20 years, The first claim agent was reachable by text or email, but not easy to reach by phone. She then went on leave and my claim was passed on to the next representative who also was not easy to reach. And had to explain the claim over again as she wasn’t up to speed. Again not responsive. And now Tesla (who has been very easy to work with) states that they too cannot easily reach NJM for proof of payment. Just disappointing, I expected better customer service from this company. It felt like their employees work from home, and respond when it’s convenient for them, not necessarily the client. Very happy with my insurance that I've had for years with njm. I always get a dividend check just before Christmas each year. And recently, I called them about my husband's policy But I did not leave a voicemail, and I got a call back The next day from a very helpful representative.

Was with this insurance since last year my mom a little longer than me. I was added to my mom's policy once I got my car a fully owened 2015 chevy. I had been driving since I was 17 but away at school till I was added, no accident history or ticket. I payed $450 a month. Together my mom and I payed $906 month with njm. I called today intending to lower my monthly payment since my car value was simply not matching what I was paying a month. Thank God I called because I found out they had set our insurance to cancel this very night. I wouldn't have Known if I hadn't called them. Payment was never missed their reasoning was that they found that my brother who has his own car and insurance works at a dealership rents his own apartment and is in the National guard that he often goes away for, w
