NJM Insurance Group - Hammonton, NJ

Called for rates as my current provider spiked up 15%. These guys came in 25% higher than the hike I just got received 😂. Like what? Your under writers need to recalibrate the game plan

Had my home and three cars insured with NJM never had any auto claims or tickets. I ended up leasing a 4th vehicle. I tried three times to add a new car to my policy. Get into an accident and NJM won’t cover claim. Yet PA law states I have 30 days. That’s right was not in car for even a month! They won’t do anything for me! Even though I tried multiple times to add to my policy.

We switched all of our insurance to NJM a year ago on a friend's recommendation. Could not be happier with the customer service we have received since signing up. A few months after we signed on we were rear ended. It was not our fault and I was wondering how much our auto premium would go up. Our renewals just came in and Chris who was our adjuster couldn't be more helpful with our new premium rate. He also helped us with our homeowners insurance. I would recommend NJM based on their fair prices and helpful customer service.

*edit* It's now the day after Christmas (accident was before Thanksgiving)and the checks NJM sent me still have not cleared. I was hit by another vehicle a few days before Thanksgiving. I was told if they didn't pickup my vehicle on Thanksgiving that I would be responsible for all the storage fees by MS. Feliciano. (Tow yard closed) I was also told my truck was only worth 5,000. Well they ended up giving me 9,000 and didn't want the truck. Well fast forward to 12/16/24 I deposited the check 8 days ago and the funds have still not been released to me. I have a totalled truck and no money but they want me to return the rental today. They won't pay for Uber so how do I get to work? I have full coverage with NJM and so did the party who hit me. I won't have NJM as soon as this is over, horrib

Just spent 2.5 hours on and off the phone between these people and Progressive. Neither of them can get a letter of coverage together to send the other. NJM quoted me a single car for $380 a month. I’m 38, no accidents etc etc… If that’s the going rate for insurance these days I can’t afford the car let alone gas. The 1 star is customer service. They weren’t even trying to sell me on any of their perks, products or service. I honestly haven’t heard such terrible phone service in 30 years of talking to people. The person was a living breathing AI with no desire for a sale. Just plug and play conversation ending in a number spit out.
