Called to get assistance, got referred by another state organization. The man I spoke with on the phone was condescending and rude. Asked me questions I already gave him the answers to, and was not help. If you don’t love your job get a new one, don’t treat the people looking to get help like they’re dumb.

Whenever I require assistance and contact Tim Johnson's office, I am consistently met with their voicemail. Does he employ anyone to answer the telephones? In light of the current circumstances, where New Jersey permits these unscrupulous insurance companies to perpetually increase our rates year after year, one would expect that these companies would hire agents to address our inquiries and concerns, rather than merely collecting our payments on a monthly/yearly basis.

My experience with this agency proved that it is not interested in protecting consumers.

Wow. We were in deep trouble having had our health insurance cancelled for an administrative misunderstanding. We could get no where with the insurance company. Out of desperation we called the complaint department and left a message not expecting to hear back any time soon. The next morning we received a call. After a very informative conversation with an investigator he recommended filling out a complaint. We sent the complaint the same day and the following day we were notified by the insurance company our policy was reinstated. Amazing and thank you for showing government can work for us.
