Nik Dargani: Allstate Insurance

Received an advertisement from Nick showing a Homeowner policy estimate with my address and all the correct information (year of home, sq footage,etc) for the home. It also stated the coverage amounts for dwelling coverage, personal property, loss of use, liability and medical. The estimate on the flyer was $657. When I called Nick the first thing he said was that the number on the flyer “served its purpose because it made you call me but it will differ once I pull up your information.” I have excellent credit and insurance rating. The estimate I received was for over $1,500/yr (250% more than advertised). Buyers beware, this agency engages in false advertisement and Nick will tell you up front the number on the paper is used as enticement for you to call.
