Well it started when the insurer cancelled my policy because the house had a composite roof. The agency should not have let this happen. The next policy was ok until Allstate upped the premium about 70 percent. I asked for a requote on the policy. I was told we needed to wait until the policy was about to expire. Well the policy expired and nothing was done by the agency. Now I cannot get coverage because I had a policy that was cancelled. The original insurer will not issue a new policy because I don't presently have coverage. This would not have happened if Newsom Insurance did the job they are paid to do. This is your responsibility Marvin and I am highly pissed.

The agent dropped the ball on us the client. Coming from out of state, we were not aware of NC laws, and rules. She didn't make us aware that our policy would change if we didn't provide her with NC licences. We found out through a letter. Another big mistake was I sent 2 payment for the house insurance, she took the first one and didn't tell me that I had send it 2x. I continued sending. A total of 5 payments and never received any calls to stop or to send it to a different address. I tried to call Heritage and couldn't get anyone on the phone. When I went to the Newsome office, I asked for the number to call and her replied was " I don't know if they'll talk to you" my reply was then who do I talk? She said " to the agent".

Both Jan and Mattie are very professional and helpful. They do a great job of finding the best insurance at a good value. Highly recommend!
