Giving it two stars as the benefits are good. Especially if you have their Medicaid policy. Their customer service is lacking. Takes hours to reach anyone and sometimes the reps just hang up (although rare). This does impact patient care and puts a strain on things. It is unreasonable to have this long of a wait time and it’s irresponsible for the company not to provide better care and access. Hire more people as the volume is there and it is needed.

If I could rate 0 stars I would Horrible customer service people hang up on your your on hold for hrs and then they wanna blame healthsource ri Also a 400 a month premium with a 7500 deductible isnt considered affordable for a single person who only brings home 600 a week after taxes and pays 1400 a month for rent. Dealing with Neighborhood has been the single most infuriating experience of my life. They had my provider apply for a formulary exemption for a medication I need and they said it was approved. But the cost never went down! For them to charge me $2700 for a 90 day supply of medication I need to function in my daily life is downright CRIMINAL. They don’t care one bit about individuals it is all about profits. That’s a given in this country’s for profit healthcare system but the worst thing about neighborhood is that every time I call, someone tells me something different that conflicts with what I was told by another agent the last time I called. Incredibly upset with your insane rate hikes. Also made my heart medication unfathomably expensive, thankfully there was a new generic brand version. Do better.

Be careful they haven't been paying their providers. Do you realize what it does to a healthcare practice when they haven't been paid for months and months?
