NC Farm Bureau Insurance

I recently worked with Shawn Black and he was very knowledgeable and helpful. He explained everything extremely well with different options and how to expand on the policy in the future. I highly recommend Shawn.

We were referred to NC Farm Bureau in Shallotte by our regular insurance agent. We need to obtain a specialized policy. We first emailed them, and then talked on the phone. They provided the quote, and we responded a few days later by email, that we want to obtain the policy. That was a few weeks ago, no response from them. We shouldn't have to chase them down and beg for a policy. We are going to go with someone else for that insurance need.

If Google allowed zero stars to leave a review, I would leave zero stars. I can't say the whole office is horrible, because I for sure did not deal with every single agent in there. However, they at least have one secretary who is fine with telling half truths to customers. And some agents who could care less about their clients. When the corporate website says to "contact your local agent" , well I got tired of talking to my local agent's voicemail. I dont think it would have been this bad at a better office. But my agent was less than helpful when my mortgage company didnt pay my insurance, the response I got when I finally got a call back "wow, sounds like they are taking your money and not paying your bills". I am a contractor who has been dealing whith a lot of insurance companies over the past 6 months and I have to say farm bureau has been the best hands down.I have had 3 home owners whith extensive damage and all wer treated very fair. And in a timely fashion.this past hurricane has been very trying and an aufull event.the one of the head claims adjuster tom sasser got involved and really sped things up i can't say enough about him.I do not have farm bureau but when my policy is up for renewal I am switching to farm bureau they wer GREAT!.thank tim and farm bureau.
