Family has been members with farm buero forever, and I was until today when they told me it would be 250 for liability only on a car valued at 800 from kelly blue book, and since I couldn't set up a direct deposit with them they told me I had to pay for 6 months in advanced making me spend almost a grand for liability only, and that's with 0 points or any issues with my driving record, Glad I called around because it got liability only for 76 bucks. Hope this good old boys company goes under very soon

Dealing with Farm Bureau has been a total nightmare. It has been 11 days since my car was slammed in to. I cannot get an appraiser to even look at my vehicle. The local office just reports they will notify the adjuster. The adjuster has not updated me in 6 days as to what I should do with the vehicle. I have never had auto insurance that was this incompetent. I’m not sure if this is just office based or if this company as a whole is a failure. I will update my post once I hear from an appraiser.

This place doesn’t care about you!! Find some one cheaper and who will VALUE you and your business. Was with this company for TEN YEARS and when I found someone cheaper since FB wanted to continue to go up every policy period with no reason, we switched and were hit with a fee because we cancelled our policy. This came WITHOUT WARNING and we were NOT NOTIFIED that this would be occurring when we called to cancel. Sketchy, Shady, and NOT who you want taking care of you.

The person that was supposed to help me! Was a person I didn’t know but in laws knew(good friends). My first claim ever to file was all done on same day. The farm bureau representative told me SHE had to make the claim separate?? So in the long run farm bureau ended up getting 2 co payments for a claim decided to be two claims. My husband died and while I was in the emergency room hoping for a miracle my home was robbed! Claims were sent in. Yes requirements were needed and filled so associate decided to make it two separate claims!!! Anyway ever since my insurance continues to increase. I was told I had towing then once I needed towing ? The car is just purchased which I made sure farm bureau had all that information, I was told over the phone I was covered! Never was!
