NavSav Insurance - Vero Beach

I had an easy experience obtaining homeowners insurance from Lora in 2024, but a giant headache if you need policy changes. I have been trying for about 2 months to change my Homeowner policy to tenant occupied, but after an initial response they fail to provide a quote and then ghost any follow up correspondence. Do yourself a favor and go with a different broker

Nav Sav is new to us but I must say we were impressed with their benefits and the care that Lora provided to meet our needs.

In summary: A quick, clean, professional and friendly service. I was unhappy with my existing broker, who was not responsive, slow, etc. At NavSav I received quick help, a smooth transfer of my insurances (multiple houses and car) and finally better rates with higher coverage. Worst insurance company I've ever experienced. Markus and Rick are completely inept. I've tried speaking with both of them for the last month to two months. They have my account listed under someone else's address and they can never give me a straight answer on renewing my policy. I've called and emailed (and have been called by them) several times and each time it's like I've never spoken to them before! I feel like Bill Murray in Groundhog Day! I would hate to see what happens if I ever had to file a claim! Completely inept company!

I was not happy with the service I received. One month before my renewal date, I received a letter stating that my policy was going to be cancelled for non-payment. Apparently, PNC bank who holds our mortgage decided to only pay for one of our policies. Why did it take 11 months for someone to contact us and let us know that there was a balance due? Isn't that something the agent could have easily notified us about? Or perhaps the insurance company should have reached out earlier. When I contacted the agent to pay the small balance that was owed, they "helped" me by issuing an e-check but in the incorrect amount. They actually paid the entire annual premium of nearly $5,000!!!
