National General Insurance

Terrible insurance company. Paid over $3000 a year for about 3 years, had 2 accidents not at fault. They did not pay either of my vehicles off, did not even give me my information after the claims was considered closed. Took my fiest far after they deemed total lost and fixed it and sold it again. When you call, you can never talk to anyone, and they never answered any of my voice mails or emails. Didn't even let me use my whole benefit of my rental policy that I had already purchased! Crooks, straight crooks! Now charging me for a early cancelation fee. Horrible and inconsiderate company. Consider yourself warned!

The initial price was better than any other quote I got, but now I regret going with them. Business hours are 9-5 Monday - Friday. Have an accident outside business hours? Well you're SOL. It takes 24-48 BUSINESS HOURS to have an adjuster assigned. If you have rental coverage, you can't get a rental until an adjuster is assigned. My wife had an accident that totaled her car Friday afternoon. I couldn't even speak to a person until Monday morning and was told it might be another 2 days before a rental is arranged. When I told the agent that this was ridiculous and I would start shopping for another insurance company, the person's response was, "Is there anything else I can help you with?" The General sucks.

The National General office in waynesboro is fantastic. I’d had bad experiences out of their florida office and the waynesboro location provided me with the right info and right contact to sort my problem out even though I’m not even his client. He even called to follow up and make sure my issue was taken care within the same hour, thank you so much Gary Mackey!

I wish I could give them less stars, absolute awful experience dealing with them, took over a month to deal with hitting a deer, joke of a rental policy they offered didn't cover half the time, overpriced for what service I did get ... completely horrific, terrible company, demand a refund really

Worst company ever. Have not responded to my calls about a claim for months. The whole company lies to cover there back. DO NOT USE THEM TO INSURE YOU
