Alicia helped me with my insurance, and working with her was comparable to breath of fresh air in a world full of smog. She was extremely patient, friendly, professional and easy to talk to. She explained my insurance coverages to me in a way that actually made sense, and was easy to understand! I would highly recommend working with her if you ever need ANYTHING!

I had a motorcycle policy with two motorcycles with the Nancy Leavitt Agency LLC. On August 6, 2024 I sent an email to the Leavitt Insurance team to cancel the insurance on one of my motorcycles. I received a confirmation email back from the Nancy Leavitt Agency stating that my KTM 690 Duke has been cancelled and that any refund will be mailed to the address on file. My yearly insurance policy renewal is on 3/28/25, so on Monday (3/17/25) I logged in to my online American Family Insurance portal to make sure the auto-renewal took place and to print my new insurance cards. I've been a loyal American Family client for over 13 years for my car insurance and I've never needed to make a claim. I was happy with my American Family agent when I was living in Cincinnati however, when I moved to Bellingham and switched to Nancy Leavitt 8 years ago, that changed. I thought I was going to get the same quality American Family agent client rapport however, Nancy never seemed to do anything for me. This is the first time I've left a negative review on a business but between the constant upselling while ignoring customer needs and an overall lack of communication unless it's some bulk email campaign to sell more, I've never been more insulted working with an insurance agent. I've mentioned a few times how I only needed auto and renter's insurance but Nancy and her office kept pushing for additional things like life insurance when I've explicitly said no. Even when I warned that if it's brought up again, I'll switch to a new provider. Of course, that didn't end the solicitation so now I'm looking at other insurance providers.
