Mutual of Omaha does not pay the claims of their own clients with Long Term Care Policies. My mother is in hospice for two months, and they still have not evaluated whether the claim is covered or not (which it is covered on its face). This means I can not hire the care givers since I can not do that until they verify the claim. All that is needed is a certificate of terminal illness, which has been provided. What Mutual of Omaha is doing to avoid paying this claim is to their feet hoping she will die before they have to approve any claim. By then it is too late, and the policy holder will not have been giving the additional nursing care for which she paid more than $60k in premiums. One example is that they claim their nurses have to review medical records to approve the claim. They
