In August of 2023, a strong windstorm hit Wichita Falls and among the mass damage caused across our side of town, half of our roof had been blown off. 4 mos later, they finally came up with a number to replace the shingles after depreciated value = $5000. Keep in mind they drug their feet for 4 months that other weather happened, like rain, which then collapsed the sheetrock in my ceiling, destroyed carpet, and shorted out/corroded any equipment with wiring in that room. Also, no roof company would take the job for $5k. OVER A YEAR later with threat of ligation they FINALLY paid an amount that we could finally get our roof fixed, (but not replace the damage inside the house). Low balled and took over a year to pay out the claim. We had other claims we started over the years, but when
