Morstan General Agency

If I could give zero stars, I would. For the past two days, I have been trying to cancel a policy due to the property being sold. The parent company is AM Trust Financial and Morstan General Agency is the local agent. The customer service at AM Trust Financial told me to reach out to the local agent to cancel. I have experience with Morstan before on an address change and they never called me back on my voicemail, and they do not pick up their phone during business hours. Beginning 6/24, I left a VM with Morstan and no one called back. I also emailed an AM Trust address (who had assisted on my address change), and nothing. Horrible customer service!!! I wanted to clarify where to send payment. The woman who picked up the call, from the moment I asked that, she started raising her voice. I was trying to tell her that I wanted to confirm the address since my mother had been sending payments to the wrong address with her previous payments. The woman refused to hear that part and kept stating how she doesn't have the letter in front of her and that she couldn't help me even when I tried to tell her that I would read it to her. This was all the while her voice was elevated and talking over me ... she wouldn't even let me explain. Morstan General Agency along with American European insurance Group are pointing fingers at each other for refusing to respond to my request to cancel my insurance with them. I left two messages and sent three emails to Morstan General Agency all have gone unanswered. American European insurance Group refused to contact Morstan General Agency although I sent proof that I emailed Morstan General Agency three times different dates. I cannot tell you where to spend your money, but it has been a nightmare dealing with both companies and really high price rate and increased each year.

Spoke with a woman named Maria, not sure of the last name, but her tone of voice and mannerisms were extremely course, sounded like she smoked a lot of cigarettes during and off work hours.. she was an horrible agent/ customer service representative. This company needs a rebrand on the etiquette of service. The person I spoke with lacked ideal interpersonal communication, ( verbal skills ) to express the company’s protocol. Think twice about doing business with this company.. unless you have the patience of a saint.

My policy went up 25% and the past month and I'm trying to refinance I have called every single day to speak to someone about this situation and the phones are not working. I have no way of reaching anyone but my policy payment is due. How can no one realize the lines are not working. I realize everyone may be working from him but if no one is getting any calls. Absurd and disappointing.
