If you have a homeowners policy with State Farm then you should get a separate policy for your roof! State Farm won’t pay to fix your roof and the local agent won’t help you either!! An EF2 tornado hit my home directly and State Farm offered a pitiful amount to fix a 3-year old architectural shingle roof. Mike Heitman, my local agent, has handled my homeowners insurance for 15 years but unfortunately for his office at Lake of the Ozarks, that will be coming to an end soon! Sorry not sorry!
