If I could give MetLife Dental HMO zero stars, I would. I have been suffering from severe dental pain for four months, and this insurance plan has been absolutely useless in helping me get treatment. It is not insurance; it is a scam. Here is the reality of this HMO plan: The Provider Directory is a Lie: I have called countless dental offices listed on the MetLife website as having an "HMO Oral Surgeon." Every single office either denies they have one or says they no longer accept this specific HMO. The list is completely outdated and misleading. Predatory Upselling: On the rare occasion I find a contracted dentist, they refuse to treat my actual problem. Instead, they try to strong-arm me into removing all my wisdom teeth—which are perfectly healthy—just to pad the bill. When I refuse

You don’t talk to any people when calling for assistance. The first three months I had dental coverage I didn’t have a dentist assigned so I couldn’t actually go to one if needed. After 4 or 5 phone calls I got through to a person and they were able to help assign one that was close by. I called to make an appointment and that dentist doesn’t take the plan that I have. Highly recommend not going with an HMO when choosing coverage because you will end up on the phone for 10+ hours before being even remotely close to getting the care needed. Why did they assign a dentist that doesn’t take HMO plans if they knew that was what I had??

The website is not working and I’m unable to locate the policy, when calling the phone number and entering the same credentials, the system is able to locate the policy, but there is no option to speak with a representative to understand the issue the call disconnects without providing access to customer service, making it impossible to resolve the problem

This company is using their power to exploit copyright laws and it's honestly disgusting. Stop suing people for creating things in video games with zero monetary gain. You're not gaining anything here, and you're being extremely greedy. By doing this, you've earned yourself a bad reputation, I hope you know that. I personally would advise anyone not to take their insurance matters here, I don't think they would want to go here in good conscience KNOWING that this is how this company handles legal matters. GetALife - This company MetLife is suing a youtuber for making a project of recreating the whole city in a video game wich he doesn't even own, just because their building is in it, this is absurd it's like having a kid buy a lego set and build this building on their table, and take a picture and share it online, then they copyright strike it and sue him for no reason at all, when the person isn't making any profit from it anyways, it's basically a free advertisement for this company. 17 U.S. Code § 120 states that if you can see a building from a public space, you are within your full legal right to photograph it, draw it, etc. I’d suggest having a lawyer send a cease and desist order. If this company has the time to waste to fill a countless of copyright strikes and a lawsuit against o
