Requested a review of my homeowner ins. policy and was told it would be researched and I would receive a call back, well that never happened. I switched to another insurance agent and have now saved 3 times the amount I was previously paying. Both previous & current insurer's are A rated.

Time wasted just trying to speak with someone it would be great to have the old mel Hines back.....when service was personal

Sadly, I cannot say that I have had a great experience from the company. I have been with This company for a few years. I have had nothing but issue since retirement of employees. My first issue was with adding a car to my policy. It is a paid off vehicle and a pretty clean record. They quoted my a yearly policy for $10,000. Mind you I have an RV with my policy at &120 a month through the same company. I then switch that car to another carrier for $120 a month. My business insurance came due and I get an email after the policy expires saying they forgot about my policy. They state that they got an extension for me so I don’t get a lapse while they setup my renewal. A week before the extension was over I get a quote for 3 times my previous year. Many of the employees I have interacted at Mel Himes & Associates have been helpful and courteous, especially when it comes to understanding the complexities of insurance. When we originally set up our Stillwater policy, the agent we were with at the time was a pleasure to work with and went out of her way to help us get a policy that met our needs. The issues started when we began to be bounced from insurer to insurer. When we were moved to Citizens in 2023, I think we were assigned to a different staff member. I contacted him on July 18, 2023 and July 25, 2023 to request details and share that we had not recieved any information in the mail. I can't stress enough how wonderful MaryAnn Pientka is. She is always so pleasant to speak with, helpful, no matter how busy she is she always answers my calls. She is a HUGE asset to your co. Not to mention, she knows her stuff inside and out! I know when I ask her a question, I have no doubt she is giving me correct information. 50 stars!!!!!!!!!
