Lipscomb & Pitts Insurance, a Higginbotham Partner

Very difficult company to work with. I have 3 investment properties insured with them in Memphis, TN and it's an absolute nightmare every year when the insurance comes due. They always blame it on the mortgage company saying that they never paid the premiums. The mortgage company says that LP never sent them the request for payment or proof of insurance. I always wondered who was dropping the ball. Today I confirmed it is LP. They just sent me an email stating I owe for a property on S. Ridge Dr. I WIRED them the funds directly for this 2 months ago due to all the trouble. I kept the receipt because I knew this would happen. I just forwarded it to them and left a message since they NEVER answer their phones. I only use these guys because the property manager I use has a master certificate

A terrible company! You can't get ahold of them. I tried for 2 days via emails and phone calls. Come to find out, they canceled my insurance a month ago, and somehow, no one was notified!

Had all of my insurance for my small business for years through these guys. I can't recommend them enough and often refer them to other business owners.

What a nightmare dealing with this awful insurance company. They under-wrote an insurance policy on a rental dwelling, despite seeing the purchase price. When asked them to submit an E&O claim to increase the coverage after a fire, they took weeks of complete non-responsiveness, only to then say they could not find an error and would not help. Absolutely HORRIBLE customer service and no accountability for their ineptitude. Do NOT use this deplorable insurance agency!

Unresponsive, unprofessional, and a complete waste of time. Pick any other insurance company. They will at least answer their phone.
